Hi, I’m Stephanie Godinez, the founder and Sentimental Curator behind Spoken Mementos.

I started this work because I believe the quiet, personal moments in life deserve to be held onto. The smell of your childhood kitchen. A worn photo of your grandfather. A letter from someone you miss. Even the way your dog greeted you at the door every day. These pieces of memory matter, and I help turn them into something lasting.

At Spoken Mementos, I create custom keepsakes that blend written stories with meaningful visuals including photos, recipes, scent notes, handwriting, even pieces of fabric. Whether it’s a celebration, a goodbye, or just a feeling you don’t want to forget, I help preserve it in a way that feels grounded and personal.

I earned my Master’s in Library and Information Science, (MLIS) where I studied archiving and storytelling- the perfect blend for memory-keeping work. Everything is written and designed by me, one-on-one with you.
